Just Give It A Shot

Holaaaa..

I just got home after spending a few hours in the apartment. I have a terrible headache today. But I already took panadol an hour ago and hopefully soon will become better.

Okay, so.. Basically I was preparing documents today. For my theses requirement and Abang None 2011. Hahaha.. I don't know what I'm doing. My life is pretty boring lately, as well as the thesis thingy. After I knew that Abang None 2011 from South Jakarta region have opened an audition, I said "Okay, let's try this!". Then, I started to fill up the application form, went to a photo studio,etc to complete the requirement. I just need to add few more things and return the application form on Friday.

Oh, and I saw on my friend's FB wall that Jakarta Broadway Team is also opened an audition for their next project. The audition will be held this Sunday and I must prepare two songs. A ballad and an up-tempo.I think that I will give a shot for this one too. I mean, nothing to lose, right? ;) Besides, I have experiences in theater. I better go find the perfect songs right away.

I'm not expecting that much. Especially with Abang None.
I know it sounds very cliche but, we will never know if we don't try.
Although I didn't make it to the next step, at least I would have new experience and new friends.

Yesterday

Yeay! I had a quality time with my two childhood friends, Ami and Widya :D

There was no other feeling than happy. We used to play together while we were kids.

We went to Plaza Senayan and we had lunch at Sushi Tei, window shopping, shared lots of stories and enjoyed our cool beverages at Starbucks.

Oh, there was a thing. I'm not a person who enjoys coffee very much. I drink it only when I need it. But yesterday, I tried Green Tea Latte and holy moly! It tasted fantastic! Maybe because I do love green tea, hihii.. Anyways, yesterday was a nice day. Today Ami has to go back to Bali and Widya has to go back to Solo as well. Too bad. I wish we had more times girls. 11am to 3pm was not enough.

I'll see u both next time.

A Day in Bandung

O Yeah! I will always get excited going to Bandung.

It's only about 2 hours ride fro Jakarta and the city has a wide variety of delicious foods.

And what can make it more exciting? When you travel with your lovely friends :)

I've lived in Medan for a year. Yesterday I went to Bandung with my high school mates when I was in Medan. Even it was only a day, we really had a great time! :D

Okay, sooo.. I'm freaking out a lil' bit right now because I just came back from campus and my friend told me that I must submit my thesis in JULY 29th 2011! Oh My God! Well, actually it is supposed to be in August 12th 2011. But, that's for the soft cover submission. Before I can submit my soft cover, I have to give my over all thesis to the Thesis Counselor to checkup all the writing. That's what I'm preparing right now.

God, I'm on my way there.

Childhood Memories

It's a beautiful sunny day.

I'm in my bedroom, sitting in front my laptop, reading a book to add some information for my thesis. Suddenly, I hear laughter from outside of my house and I see a bunch of kids playing badminton and football. I'm quite surprised. It's been a while since the last time I saw kids playing around. 

I live at Griya BNI Simprug. It's sort of apartment which were specially established in 1997 for BNI employees. Believe it or not I was the first family who moved in (June 1997). As time goes by, I met some of my old friends and lots of new friends. We've done lots of things together.  From fighting to friendship, from roller-blading to dancing, from birthday party to Halloween party and so on. Well, we weren't always be good friends. I mean, we were just kids, right? :p

On 2004 my family and I moved to Medan. On 2005 we moved to Padang. Finally, (thank you Lord) I came back to Jakarta and moved return to my lovely home, Simprug, on 2006. But things were different. Most of my friends had moved out. Although there were still few of them, we hadn't see each other or go out that much. Perhaps as because the tight routines that we had as we got older. There were new families who have kids, but they didn't go and play outside..

I was completely sad and I still am.. I miss all my friends here, I miss the craziness, the togetherness, the joy and happiness. I miss everything! :'( I really had the best childhood life ever in Griya BNI Simprug. Thank goodness I still can keep in touch with some of them. We had a quite huge reunion two years ago. It was very exciting and I was very surprised to see my old friends that I hadn't met for years.

I went to Kinokuniya at Plaza Senayan yesterday. I walked straight to the stationery section because as far as I know, Kinokuniya has some cool and unique stuff where I can't find in the local bookstore. Suddenly, my brother pointed one shelf behind me. As I turned around my eyes just popped out and my jaw dropped!

I want all oh them! Especially the princesses. But they are too expensive. And.. I didn't bring my digicam, so I could only immortalize it from my BB's camera :'(

Lazy Monday

Oh my God..

It's May alreadyyyyyyyyyy. Aaaaaaaaa. I Should finish my thesis immediately.

The good thing is I've done all chapters from 1- 5. But it's still rough. I still have to add this and that at some parts and recheck everything. But why oh why am I sooooooo lazy lately especially today. I could gave finished this soon, but it's very hard to concentrate :(

Oh God.. Please help me to get through this.

I really wanna graduate this year.

I believe I can.
